Well, we all know it in the world of HGH. But now its seems Sanofi, Novo Nordisk and Lilly have been price fixing insulin too.
Insulin is a product which is very similar to HGH. Its made in much the same way human growth hormone is made. And its priced excessively as is HGH from any of these companies.
It seems now a group of insulin users have taken a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit was filed on Monday in a federal court in Massachusetts. The group claim that the companies have simultaneously increased prices of Insulin by over 150% in the last 5 years.
Its no surprise to HGH customers
Well everyone thats tried to buy human growth hormone products through official channels know how expensive it can be. We’ve all known for a long time that big pharma prices fixes its HGH products. Now looks like they’ve been rumbled because of Insulin.
Its seems they have been steadily raising the public benchmark price of Insulin (also used in body building). Whilst at the same time give a true lower price to the big pharmacy buyers.
Big Pharma got HGH imports banned to restrict competition
It wasn’t so long ago that the likes of Lilly and Novo Nordisk lobbied to get cheaper Chinese imports of HGH banned. Which is in fact what happened. We all knew in the HGH community that it was just to corner the market for themselves. And all the while big pharma was insisting that Chinese imports were dangerous. What they meant in fact was that Chinese imports were dangerous but not for customers. Just for themselves.
Elderly Insulin users had to choose between food or medicine
The plaintiffs in the case say that they sometimes had to skip meals to buy the medicine. Or they were rushed to emergency rooms to get injections of Insulin. This was often done intentionally so as to get more insulin. Others say that they under-dosed because they couldn’t afford the price. They accuse the companies of racketeering.
Shares in the companies involved have fell
Its seems shares in these companies have fallen on the new of a lawsuit. So the market thinks there must be some truth in it. Theres certainly truth in the fact the the companies have been price fixing the cost of human growth hormone (HGH) for years. And they will probably continue to do so for as long as they can get away with it.
